The Triage Medical Assistant, under the general supervision of the Triage Nurse Manager as part of the Acute Care Team (ACT). The Triage Medical Assistant is responsible for abiding by policies and procedures of the OneWorld Community Health Centers while performing the clinical and clerical duties necessary to meet the goal of providing primary healthcare. They work primarily from home, but report to work in the clinic on a rotating basis. Work involves medication refill requests, prior authorization processing, and telephonic patient assistance.
