OneWorld is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner at our West Omaha Clinic (120th & I). Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), located at the West Omaha Clinic off 120th and I. 

The APRN works as part of the medical provider team performing a variety of direct primary care services to patients.  This includes physical examinations, assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans, medication management, lab review, and/or referrals including hospitalization when necessary.  The APRN also monitors the general management plan for assigned patients.  The APRN performs these functions under the general supervision of a licensed physician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing Practice required. Degree must be from an accredited school of nursing that is recognized by the Board of Nursing, or from a program otherwise designated for Nurse Practitioners that has been approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• APRN license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nebraska required.  (Or license eligible.)
• RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska required.  (Or license eligible.)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Two or more years of clinical experience either preferred or required, depending on clinic location.
• Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products required; experience with an Electronic Health Record preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.  If required, must be able to speak enough Spanish to examine Spanish-speaking patients and converse on a basic level.
• Demonstrated ability to relate with warmth and effectiveness to culturally diverse patients as well as other OWCHC providers and staff members.
