Job Title: Technical Order Processing Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Order Processing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer purchase orders (POs) and accurately translating them into internal work orders. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to understand technical documentation, and experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret customer purchase orders (POs) to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Translate customer requirements into clear and accurate internal work orders
- Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify order details and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure all orders are entered accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers or internal departments regarding order status or questions
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order processing, order entry, or a similar role preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred
