Job Description Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Women's Health Slidell, LA Overview: Our practice in Slidell is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong passion for women's health to manage hormone therapy, gynecologic care, and new patient consultations. Training can be provided for the right candidate. Position Offers: Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM Competitive salary: $120,000-140,000 annually (DOE) Health insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Sick Time Off (STO) Malpractice coverage provided Key Responsibilities: Manage hormone therapy Treat abnormal uterine bleeding Perform pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopies Insert and manage IUDs Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits Provide birth control management, including prescription refills Qualifications: Active, current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Louisiana Current national certification as a WHNP-BC or FNP-BC/FNP-C Minimum 3 years of WHNP/gynecology-focused experience Continuing education in women's health or gynecology preferred Why Join Us: Join a practice where your passion for women's health directly supports patients through comprehensive gynecologic and reproductive care, with training available and strong compensation.
