Job Description Director of Nursing (DON) New York, NY Overview: Our infusion agency in New York is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to step into a high-impact leadership role as Director of Patient Services. Position Offers: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Competitive salary: $135,000-155,000 per year (DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement savings plan Paid holidays and floating holidays Key Responsibilities: Maintain full accountability for all Director-level responsibilities, providing leadership and operational oversight for nursing and patient services Oversee and support the Registered Nurse (RN) team to ensure uninterrupted patient care and operational continuity Assume RN Coordinator duties and provide coverage as needed Maintain thorough knowledge of infusion protocols, including medication preparation and administration, weight-based and indication-specific dosing, and premedication requirements Ensure appropriate infusion rate titration and management of infusion-related reactions Ensure appropriate patient monitoring before, during, and after treatment Ensure compliance with Licensed Home Care Service Agency (LHCSA) rules and regulations Qualifications: Active, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New York Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) for an infusion agency Thorough understanding of infusion protocols and patient monitoring Knowledge of Licensed Home Care Service Agency (LHCSA) rules and regulations Why Join Us: Lead with real autonomy at a high-performing organization that has already proven its excellence, shaping clinical standards and supporting a strong nursing team.
