What you will do:
- Research pricing and quantity discrepancies
- Follow-up on status of unapproved payables
- Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
- Process inventory or overhead expense invoices
- Facilitate new vendor setup and update existing vendor’s information
- Assist with vendors inquiries
- Assist with Accounts Payable reporting requirements
- Back up staff if necessary
- Electrical, Contractor and/or distribution experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient computer skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Above average typing skills and 10 key by touch
- Good communication and writing skills
- Organization skills and excellent phone etiquette
- Must have strong work ethics and professional attitude
- 2 years of Accounts Payable Experience or Equivalent combination of Education and Experience
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen.
Long and varied hours are required occasionally.
Location: Oceanside, CA
Work hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
