What You Will Do

• Update and maintain project files to include project setup forms, billing requests, customer invoices and other relevant documentation.
• Submit and monitor status of request
• Ensure accurate quote and fulfillment data and communication through quality process
• Lead and direct sales promotions to drive and recognize customer service goals
• Stimulate project sales growth with focus on lighting solutions within the electrical distribution industry
• Develop direct rapport with customers to understand issues and internal improvement areas.
• Update product selection tools and attend training seminars including those related to lighting systems and technologies.
• Provide back-up support to program leader for product line related to basic technical and application queries including applications.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Electrical, lighting Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or equivalent from four-year college; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience must include at least one of the following: electrical distributor and or vendor representative.
• Experience in various software applications that are among the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and the Internet
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible and adaptable, be technical, and adaptable to technology.
  
  

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use of PPE as required.
• Mix of warehouse and office work environments
  
  

Location: This role is on-site in Honolulu, HI Branch

Work hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Salary Range

This is a non-exempt position and pays between $24.23 - $32.31 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within Hawaii. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
