Position Overview
We’re seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator to join our team. This role supports our Digital Marketing Manager and designated account teams across social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement.
You’ll thrive here if you love social media trends, can shoot and edit content on the fly, and are passionate about turning creative ideas into highly engaging posts. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role with lots of room to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Create monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and X
- Write and edit compelling captions (free of grammar errors and on-brand)
- Plan and attend photo/video shoots; direct and capture content
- Create social assets using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools
- Schedule posts natively and via platforms like Later or Sprout
- Monitor and engage with communities: comments, DMs, reviews
- Track trends, sounds, and platform updates to keep content fresh
- Align social strategy with overall PR/marketing efforts
- Pull analytics, generate performance reports, and identify areas for growth
- Collaborate with influencers and assist with content partnerships
- Attend events and capture live Instagram Stories
- Assist with Meta Business Suite setup/troubleshooting, Yelp/Google updates, and more
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
- 1 year of social media experience (internships count), preferably in an agency setting
- Proven experience creating content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Later/Sprout, and social platforms (Facebook, IG, TikTok, X and more)
- Familiarity with analytics and social KPIs
- Self-starter mindset and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to attend client shoots/events, occasionally outside of office hours
Bonus Points If You...
- Have experience with influencer marketing platforms like Upfluence
- Understand entry-level AI prompting or basic motion/graphic design
- Love working with restaurants, lifestyle brands, or events
