Vice President Corporate Banking

OneSearch Group, partnered with a highly regarded South Florida–based banking institution, is seeking a Vice President to join its Corporate Banking team. This role is focused on the origination, structuring, underwriting, and execution of leveraged credit transactions, including syndicated and bilateral facilities, with exposure to sponsor-backed and middle market credit facilities.

This position is ideal for a banker that is actively involved in deal execution, maintains strong market relationships, and contributes meaningfully to both new business development and ongoing portfolio management.

Key Functions:

• Support the origination and execution of leveraged finance transactions, including syndicated loans, bilateral credit facilities, and sponsor-backed financings.
• Maintain active relationships with syndication partners and peer banks involved in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and related sponsor-driven transactions.
• Assist in developing and expanding relationships with financial sponsors, developers, and operating companies across infrastructure, power, energy, and industrial-adjacent sectors.
• Lead transaction-level underwriting and structuring, including analysis of financial statements, projections, operating models, capital structures, and key risk factors.
• Prepare detailed credit and investment memoranda for internal approval committees, clearly articulating transaction structure, leverage, cash flow coverage, risks, and mitigants.
• Anticipate credit committee questions and proactively address key underwriting considerations within approval materials and discussions.
• Support ongoing portfolio management, including amendments, waivers, performance monitoring, and periodic reporting.
• Contribute to the refinement of underwriting standards, credit processes, and internal procedures within the Leveraged Finance / Corporate Banking group.
• Participate in the mentorship and development of junior bankers, analysts, and portfolio support staff as the team grows.

Desirable Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in leveraged lending, including sponsor-backed transactions and syndicated facilities.
• Advanced financial modeling and credit underwriting skills, with the ability to independently assess leverage, cash flow durability, and downside risk.
• Experience working with private equity sponsors, middle market companies, and large corporates.
