OneSearch Group has partnered with one of the fastest-growing Corporate & Investment Banking groups in South Florida in its search for a Project Finance Analyst II to join its Miami-based team.
This professional will play a key role in the underwriting, structuring, and execution of credit facilities across a diversified portfolio of Natural Resources transactions, including, but not limited to, Energy, Infrastructure, Power, and Renewables. The position offers exposure to complex, high-impact deals and the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers, sponsors, developers, and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and analyze new and existing credit opportunities by reviewing financial statements, projections, diligence materials, lender presentations, public filings, appraisal reports, data rooms, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction evaluation and credit decisioning.
- Prepare credit approval memorandums, annual reviews, waiver and amendment requests, and related presentations for internal approval processes.
- Assess transaction structure, key risks, mitigants, and overall credit quality in support of sound underwriting recommendations.
- Ensure all loan packages are consistent with internal credit standards, underwriting guidelines, and lending policies.
- Anticipate key questions from credit committee and proactively address relevant risks, structural considerations, and diligence findings within approval materials.
- Support ongoing portfolio management efforts, including reviews of existing exposures and credit monitoring activities.
- Maintain regular interaction with clients, sponsors, developers, and other market participants across the sector.
- Assist with broader loan policy, procedure, quality control, and underwriting-related initiatives across the banking platform.
- Participate in pipeline and portfolio meetings with deal teams and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant credit execution experience within Project Finance, Structured Finance, Corporate Banking, or a related lending environment.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate transaction risk and credit structure.
- Solid understanding of project finance fundamentals and credit underwriting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise credit materials for senior approval authorities.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
