Responsibilities
- Accurately enter new medication orders into the pharmacy software
- Process refill requests, medication changes, and new admissions promptly
- Review orders for completeness and communicate with nurses and providers when clarification is needed.
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles
- Prioritize urgent medication orders to support patient care
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, and faculty staff
- Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations, HIPAA requirements, and company policies
- Help maintain an organized, efficient workflow while contributing to a positive work environment.
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration/certification (as required per state law)
- Pharmacy experience
- Excellent computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Dependable attendance and willingness to support teammates where needed
