- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement across pharmacy operations.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas) to manipulate large datasets and automate reporting tasks.
- Utilize modern productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, and automation platforms to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve accounting discrepancies, improve reconciliation processes, and support operational efficiency.
- Support retail and healthcare-specific accounting needs, including inventory valuation, third-party reimbursements, and pharmacy-specific revenue recognition.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, and compliance teams to ensure financial data integrity and alignment with business goals.
- Assist in the year-end audit of financial statements conducted by the external accounting firm.
- Review financial statements for variance analysis and communicate findings and explanations to management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data and insights.
- Research and record acquisitions and other complex financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
- Conduct technical accounting research to support decision-making and ensure compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support departmental and organizational goals.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and U.S. accounting principles
- Experience or familiarity with retail and healthcare/pharmacy accounting practices
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, generate reports, and present actionable insights
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite and Bill.com
- Proficiency in Micrsosoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros) and other Office products
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and automation platforms (e.g., Copilot)
- Experience and comfort using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for virtual teamwork and document management
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities professionally in a dynamic environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence using proper grammar. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to colleagues and executives of the organization.
