Summary:

The Junior Laboratory Estimator supports the estimating team by assisting in the preparation of cost estimates for lab furniture and facility projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow in technical estimating within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing drawings and specifications
• Perform basic quantity takeoffs and data entry
• Help prepare pricing sheets and scope summaries
• Communicate with vendors for quotes and lead times
• Support proposal development and bid submissions
• Maintain organized project files and documentation

Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of experience in estimating or construction (internships welcome)
• Ability to read basic blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and math skills
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam or AutoCAD is a plus
• Eagerness to learn lab-specific standards (GMP, BSL, etc.)
