Description:
The Operations Associate will keep the office running smoothly and will assist with overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Provide exceptional service to all clients. Extreme attention to accuracy and detail is a requirement.
- Highly Responsible and accountable, self-motivated
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to independently prioritize work
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within tight time frames
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer software and systems to perform duties
- Maintain, improve and optimize office processes
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Interest in financial markets and investment securities
Responsibilities:
- Manage the client onboarding, account opening and asset transfer processes.
- Prepare new client onboarding packages, including new account applications, financial profiling forms, account transfer forms, and financial applications.
- Ensure that account opening and service requests are processed efficiently, while providing timely follow-up to clients.
- Assist with client updates, reports, and mailings (1099s, etc)
- Responsible for Check Deposits
- Ensure efficient timelines are associated with tasks and the timelines are met
- Assist in moving money in and out of client accounts on request
- Follow up with custodians to ensure changes are implemented in a timely manner.
- Communicates with clients in writing and over the phone
- Implementation and use of internal systems for administration, compliance, operations
