Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) with OneKap Healthcare Solutions. The BHT will support clients with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs by providing direct care, monitoring behaviors, assisting with daily living activities, and implementing individualized care plans. This role requires professionalism, compassion, and the ability to maintain a safe, structured environment while supporting client progress.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, patient-focused care, and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and adhere to high-care standards with compassion and professionalism
- Experience in home healthcare or related healthcare settings is an advantage
- Prior experience in behavioral health, mental health, residential care, or direct‑care settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements, safety protocols, and compliance standards
- Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic recordkeeping
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks as required
