OneKap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Behavioral Health Aide (BHA) to provide in-home support to clients in Jasper, Georgia (Pickens County).
The Behavioral Health Aide supports individuals with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs. This position focuses on assisting with daily living activities, following individualized care plans, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence and well-being.
Work Environment
- In-person, in-home care services in Jasper, GA.
- May involve working with pediatric clients and individuals with developmental delays.
- Requires compassion, patience, adaptability, and respect for client dignity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, individualized support to clients in their homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities as outlined in their care plans.
- Follow established behavioral support strategies and care instructions.
- Encourage independence, positive behavior, and personal development.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive care environment.
- Communicate relevant client updates to the care coordination team.
- Complete required care documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
Schedule
Part-time / Full-time opportunities, subject to available client schedules.
Requirements
- Valid Behavioral Health Aide (BHA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Coursework in psychology, social work, or healthcare preferred.
- At least one year of direct care or behavioral health support experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Current TB test and satisfactory background and drug screening.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to provide in-person care in Jasper, GA.
