Salary: $24.24/hour - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)
Responsible To: Utilities Manager
Summary: The Freshwater Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of the drinking water system through monitoring, sampling, data management, and regulatory reporting. This position maintains compliance with federal, state, and tribal drinking water regulations while supporting operational decision-making and serving as a technical liaison with oversight agencies. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

- Associates Degree in Water Quality or closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of previous experience with lab analysis, sampling, preparing reagents, interpreting results, routine equipment maintenance and data reporting; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience maybe considered.
- Water and Wastewater Certification are required and must be obtained within two (2) years of employment:
- Water Certifications Requirements: Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Waterworks Certification and Groundwater Certification
- Wastewater Certifications Requirements: WDNR Basic Wastewater Certification, Laboratory subclass certification, and Total Phos Subclass Certification
