After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.
Summary :
To create and maintain all vendors in the accounting system. In addition, to create and submit all vendor tax forms for the Nation related to payments, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Standards.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all vendor information is complete, accurate, and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Create and maintain all vendors in the financial system.
- Reconcile monthly taxable vendor transactions.
- Prepare year-end tax forms.
- Post the daily transactions of the subsystem modules to the General Ledger.
- Always provide excellent customer service skills including, but not limited to, addressing customer and employee needs professionally, courteously, and promptly.
- Develop a working knowledge of each system module including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Purchase Management, Intertribal, and Travel.
- Participate in staff meetings and act as a mentor to Accounts Payable team.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and / or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
