You’ll be responsible for executing store layouts that support new builds, remodels, and departmental updates. If you're detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working within established guidelines, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact across a national retail footprint.
What You’ll Do
- Produce high volumes of fixture layout and merchandising plans in AutoCAD using existing prototypes and planning standards
- Review and apply store-specific survey data to generate layouts that meet operational and merchandising requirements
- Adjust floor plans in response to updated project scopes, business initiatives, or real estate constraints
- Collaborate with Store Operations, Construction, and Field teams to ensure layouts are executable and compliant
- Maintain consistent, organized project files and ensure all drawings reflect the latest updates
- Flag layout or data inconsistencies early and help drive resolution before execution
- Participate in plan reviews and apply changes with efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct occasional field reviews to validate plan accuracy or gather missing data
What You Bring
- Education or training in Architecture, Drafting, Merchandising
- Professional experience producing AutoCAD plans in a deadline-driven environment (academic or internship work may be considered if highly proficient)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel to work with fixture data and store plan inputs
- Proven ability to work at pace while maintaining precision across multiple projects
- Solid understanding of layout execution requirements and constructability considerations
- Ability to follow detailed planning protocols with minimal deviation
- Strong organizational habits and responsiveness in a team setting
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience supporting store planning, construction, or operations for a retail chain
- Prior involvement in rollout programs, refresh cycles, or high-volume plan generation
Please Note
An AutoCAD skills test will be required as part of the interview process, and a high level of proficiency will be expected to move forward.
Why Join Us
You’ll join a high-performing team that supports capital projects nationwide, from new stores to remodels and refreshes. This is a production-heavy environment where strong AutoCAD proficiency is critical, and precision and speed directly drive retail execution. Whether you bring early-career drafting experience or a background in advanced space planning, this role offers visibility, impact, and the chance to grow your expertise in retail development while contributing to high-profile initiatives.
