We heavily invest in our technology and our people as we embark on a challenging yet exciting journey re-shaping the future of energy.If you share a passion in energy and technology and want to make a real difference in a rapidly growing scale-up company, please read on.Job SummaryBased primarily at Martignetti in Taunton, MA (with the flexibility to assist at Nuvera in Billerica, MA as needed), the Field Service Technician/Engineer supports an on-site hydrogen gas production facility. You'll maintain and service production, compression, dispensing, transportation, and storage systems; execute diagnostics and preventive maintenance; and report and resolve breakdowns, including parts ordering and documentation. The role is customer-facing and requires strong technical acumen, clear communication, and sound judgment. We're seeking a mechanically or electrically strong self-starter who can operate independently and grow into a senior-level role.Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment at customer sites to maximize uptime.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate system performance; perform software/hardware upgrades and field retrofits.Provide on-call and emergency support, including after-hours response.Work safely with high-pressure hydrogen systems/components, 480VAC equipment, flammable gases, fueling systems, and related electrical controls.Maintain ongoing communication with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers regarding aftermarket support.Report site performance and field issues to management; recommend improvements based on trend analysis.Complete administrative tasks: incident reports, service logs, inventory control, site and system documentation.Enforce and model safety procedures at all sites; represent OneH2 professionally in all interactions.Travel as needed; drive safely and comply with all traffic laws.Be available for 24/7 on-call rotation for alarms and maintenance, as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:Mechanical/Electrical Foundation: 2-3 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting preferred; new graduates with strong fundamentals considered.Education/Training: Formal technical training may substitute for direct experience.Licensing: Must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
