Our Newest Opportunity:

The Investment Trader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our firm's trading operations. This position demands a deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and technology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing complex trades, managing risk, and driving operational efficiency.

Trading Execution:

• Oversee and execute buy/sell trade orders for client accounts across various asset classes, including ETFs, mutual funds, and domestic and international equities.
• Manage model rebalancing orders for both in-house and external portfolio managers.
• Proactively monitor market conditions to identify trading opportunities and potential risks.
• Utilize advanced trading techniques, such as algorithmic and block trading, to achieve optimal execution.
  
  

Operational Excellence:

• Continuously improve trading processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, client service, and IT teams to ensure seamless trade execution and settlement.
• Analyze trading data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  
  

Risk Management:

• Implement robust risk management controls to mitigate market and operational risks.
• Monitor market volatility and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
• Conduct regular reviews of trading performance and identify areas for improvement.
  
  

Technology and Systems:

• Manage and oversee our trading platform vendor systems.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Stay updated on emerging trading technologies and tools.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in investment trading, with a strong focus on algorithmic and block trading.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading strategies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using advanced trading platforms, such as Orion Eclipse, and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• A strong commitment to achieving optimal execution and minimizing costs.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and sound judgment.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
