CT/X-RAY Technologist - Nights
Our Radiology Team is looking for a qualified CT/Rad Tech(RT). This position performsprocedures according to the department and hospital policies. This person is expected to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining quality imaging. We follow the Exceptional Promise by treating everyone with courtesy, dignity and respect. RTs partner with eachpatient during their visit to ensure patient understanding.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- At least 2 years of CT and radiologic imaging experience
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current State licensure for X-ray and CT
- BLS Certification
- Problem solving abilities
- Taking initiative to intervene immediately if needed for patient safety
- Ability to read, write and communicate with patients, caregivers and other medical professionals
- Computer proficiency in healthcare context - EMR, documentation, safety, compliance
JOB DUTIES & SKILLS:
- Excellent Customer Service
- Courtesy and respect for every staff member
- Documents all findings accurately
- Maintains patientlog for CT and x-ray
- Performs all daily equipment checks for quality assurance
- Maintains the facility in clean working order and reports any equipment failure or deficiencies to the Radiology Director
- Accurately documents any incidents and reports them to radiology leadership
Shift Schedule:
- 12 hour shifts
