Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and hands-on expertise. As a key contributor, you will assist in building, remodeling, and restoring structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Perform framing, drywall installation, siding, roofing, flooring, tile laying, and trim carpentry to construct or renovate structures.
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and masonry work as needed for various projects.
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, moldings, and other finishing elements with precision.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols; support demolition and restoration activities including water damage remediation and mold removal.
• Follow construction plans accurately while maintaining a clean and organized job site to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or related trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings confidently.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, masonry equipment, and wood construction materials.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with building codes is a plus.
• Experience working on residential or commercial sites with an understanding of site safety protocols.
• Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail in fixture installation, drywall finishing, siding application, or flooring installation.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow instructions independently when required.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
