ON-SITE TAILOR WANTED - FREE Workspace in Exchange for Front Desk Help
OneClick Cleaners in Newport News is looking for an experienced Tailor / Seamstress to join us onsite.
We have a high volume of alterations coming in every day and want to offer our customers same-day, in-house tailoring.
THE DEAL:
We provide you with FREE dedicated space / sewing station inside our store to run your own tailoring business. No rent, no utilities.
In exchange, you help cover phones and front desk/customer service during your downtime.
It's a win-win - you get a free, high-traffic storefront location with built-in customers, we get reliable front desk coverage.
What You'll Do:
- Perform your own alterations for our customers & your own clients (hems, zippers, suits, dresses, uniforms, etc.)
- Answer phones and greet customers at the front desk when not sewing
- Check in / check out garments
- Keep workspace clean and professional
Ideal For You If:
- Experienced tailor/seamstress with your own machine(s) and tools
- Friendly, reliable, and good with customers
- Can handle basic alterations independently
- Looking for a steady location without the overhead of your own shop
- Part-time or Full-time available
This is an independent contractor / space-share arrangement. You keep 100% of your own customers alteration income. We share 50/50 on walk in customer alterations income.
