What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Partner Success Manager position at OneCause?
The Senior Partner Success Manager is a key position responsible for managing, enabling, and growing relationships within the OneCause Certified Partner ecosystem, and will contribute to the evolution of the partner program structure. This role is ideal for a strategic, innovative, self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting nonprofit success through partnerships and strong customer success skills.
This role will work closely with event professionals and fundraising consultants to ensure they are engaged, empowered, and aligned with OneCause tools and strategy. From onboarding and certification to resource creation, referral management, and customer retention, this role is a trusted liaison between partners and internal OneCause teams. This role is part of the Strategic Customer Success team, working closely with the Director of Partner Development.
Certified Partner Management & Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing Certified Partners and their shared customers, delivering proactive, personalized support that drives mutual success, adoption and utilization and retention.
- Understand each partner's business model, goals, and strategy to align OneCause tools and services to their needs.
- Manage customer retention and churn risk mitigation with partner organizations.
- Gain deep knowledge of how each partner utilizes the OneCause platform and identify opportunities to expand adoption and offer additional services.
- Build and maintain a strong engagement cadence through regular check-ins, quarterly office hours, and monthly communications via enablement tools like Salesloft and Gainsight.
- Track partner activity, upcoming events, and referral flow.
- Respond proactively to internal changes, shifting priorities and the evolving needs of the customer base.
Partner Recruitment & Program Growth
- Support the identification and recruitment of new Certified Partners who align with OneCause values, services, and customer needs.
- Coordinate internal alignment and readiness for onboarding new partners into the certification process.
- Assist in creating materials and workflows that support recruitment and elevate program visibility.
- Build a strategy for the overall health and growth of each Certified Partner account, identifying ways to deliver more value through partnership.
Partner Certification Program
- Drive innovation, expansion, and iteration of Partner Certification Program.
- Manage cohort participants and specific activities aligned to stages of certification program. Can include:
- Welcome communications and onboarding coordination
- Collaboration with training leads on course tracking, workbook completion, and staging site review
- Monitoring engagement and participation milestones through Salesforce and Salesloft
- Final certification review and staging clean-up
- Ongoing follow-up, marketing coordination, and HighSpot portal management
Enablement & Strategic Support
- Partner across teams to continuously support and enable, ensuring all teams understand and champion the Partner Program and can elevate support of our Certified Partners while improving internal workflow and partner experience.
- Facilitate internal referrals by connecting the right Certified Partners to the right nonprofit opportunities.
- Create and maintain partner-facing resources such as certification tools, HighSpot content, referral forms, and process documentation.
- Lead content creation efforts for auctioneer certification, service line updates, and best practices.
