Overview:
OneCare LTC is a closed-door, long-term care pharmacy, that specializes in providing medications to nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other long-term care communities.
We are seeking a Licensed Staff Pharmacist to join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping patients. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior communication and organizational skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.

**This position will be working afternoon shifts (2:00pm-10:30pm). This position includes rotating holidays and weekends as well.**
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions and check transmissions into electronic MARS.
- Review drug orders and/or prescriptions to ensure the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medications.
- Provide outstanding patient care by optimizing medication preparation and resolving medication-related problems.
- Prepare and dispense medications, provide drug information and manage medication therapy in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Supervise the activities of assigned support personnel and verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all medications prepared by support personnel prior to dispensing to patients or dispensing to healthcare providers for administration to patients.
- Enforce all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
- Pharmacy license from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Current Pharmacist License active and in good standing in the state of Michigan.
- Ability to work independently as well as working in a team environment.
- Preferred experience in a Long-Term Care pharmacy setting.
