Cannabis Laboratory Technician

Temple Hill Collective, Inc. (THCi) is hiring a Lab Technician at our cannabis product manufacturing facility in Orange, MA.

We operate an independent cannabis manufacturing facility that produces a variety of cannabis products for sale at licensed dispensaries throughout the state of MA.

We are looking for a Lab Tech with experience working in a commercial cannabis lab, ideally here in MA. We utilize several different extraction techniques in our lab including ethanol, hydrocarbon, and solventless extraction methods. The ideal candidate will have a general familiarity with each of these methodologies with special familiarity with hydrocarbon extraction. Additional experience in post extraction and downstream processing techniques are also critical to this role.

General Responsibilities:

The following is a general overview, and not an all inclusive list of the responsibilities of the position.

• Extraction sock cleaning and packing.
• Centrifuging.
• Operating a 2L and 20L rotary evaporator.
• Winterizing ethanol extracts.
• Ethanol Extractions.
• Operating a 12L Summit Research SPD and POPE 2 Wipe Film.
• Cleaning glassware and equipment.
• Lifting 50lbs of dry ice.
• Vape and Tincture Formulations.
  
  
  

General Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year working in a commercial cannabis lab environment
• Butane Hash Oil (BHO) Hydrocarbon extraction experience is required
• Must keep a clean and organized working environment at all times.
• Ability to follow and maintain all safety protocols at all times.
• Ability to work in a team setting and follow standard operating procedures.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs and push up to 100lbs
• Use computers to track data and use regulatory applications such as METRC.
• Able to comply with daily use of PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, etc.
• Ability to pass a Cannabis Control Commission mandated background check.
