ONealCPA PLLC is looking for an exceptional accountant to join our small but growing team as an Accounting Supervisor. In this role, you will maintain excellent client relationships, perform accounting duties, and supervise bookkeeping staff who may be college interns or foreign remote outsourced bookkeepers and data entry clerks.
This position is in our Accounting and Tax Services subsidiary company and reports directly to the Director of Client Accounting Services

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing the accounting duties for your assigned clients. These duties include.
- Project management
- Supervising bookkeeping staff
- Review basic bookkeeping functions such as bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Recording journal entries
- Ensuring timely monthly closings
- financial statement analysis and reporting results to clients
Manage communication with clients. For most clients, you will serve as the primary point of contact.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced. We need an accountant who has handled the accounting for multiple small to mid-sized businesses and is able to analyze financial statements and make recommendations to clients. You should have experience and be proficient in working directly with multiple accounting systems as our clients use QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks desktop, NetSuite, Sage-100 and others.
- Knowledgeable. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of accounting, the difference between a debit and a credit, and bookkeeping best practices, have a solid understanding of business financial statements, and be proficient with technology.
- Comfortable with Technology. ONealCPA extensively utilizes technology and automation for internal use and for our clients. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, skilled at working with Cloud based services, comfortable using Zoom and Teams, and Online Banking and setting up and using EFTPS account
- Understand Payroll Set up, Processing and Payroll Tax Reporting. We do not process payroll,but we interface our clients’ accounting systems with numerous payroll service providers including ADP, Paycom, Paychex and QuickBooks payroll.
- Organized & Detail Oriented. This position requires detailed attention to multiple clients with different services. Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills are essential.
- Relationships and Excellent Communicator. You will be the primary contact for a lot of our clients. It is important that you are client service oriented and seek to build a strong personal rapport with clients. Your goal is to become a trusted advisor to each client. Therefore, possessing a friendly, outgoing attitude, with strong relationship building skills is essential.

Pay: $72,959.00 - $78,774.00 per year
