Life Claims Support Professional
to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support for the adjudication of
l
ife, terminal illness, long-term care, and waiver of premium claims, ensuring an efficient and accurate claims process.
Your Impact:
- Apply knowledge of various insurance carriers' standards and guidelines when processing claims.
- Print, prepare, and send requests for claims forms, medical records, and other correspondence.
- Accurately enter new claims into the claims database.
- Monitor the progress of open claims, performing timely follow-ups on outstanding documents.
- Carefully review documents to confirm completeness and distinguish between original and copy submissions.
- Research and resolve return mail issues promptly. Navigate and work efficiently across multiple computer systems.
- Provide general administrative assistance to Claims Analysts.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of life insurance concepts.
- Proficiency with email (Outlook), database research, and accurate data entry/keyboard skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet competing deadlines effectively.
- Organized, adaptable, and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.
