Reports to: General Manager

Pay Range: $17-$20/hour plus paid training

About The Role

As a caregiver, you will provide essential non-medical assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. The role of a caregiver includes companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, encouragement of maintaining hobbies and creative projects, and light housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

We match you with clients based on many factors: your level of care experience, location, availability, and interests.

→ Provide Companion Care

• Engage in meaningful conversations and client hobbies (puzzles, music, movement, etc.)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuum, dust, wipe down kitchen, etc.) and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
  
  

→ Provide Personal Care, when requested

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Assistance with feeding if necessary
  
  

→ Provide Ongoing Communication with Client and Management Team

• Maintain client safety, monitor and report changes in client condition to agency management.
• Clock in and Clock out on time for every assigned shift.
• Document all task activity for every shift.
• Communicate clearly to both client and management personnel.
  
  

What You Bring

• Genuine enjoyment of working with seniors.
• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related field is a plus.
• Growth mindset and interest in ongoing training in homecare (online and/or in-person).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for clear and consistent communication with clients and our management team.
• Commitment to being present while with clients to ensure they feel supported.
• Interest in cooking meals and keeping a tidy house.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  
  

Work Hours

• Our shifts are a minimum of 4-hours.
• Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, 12-hour shifts, and overnights available).
