We're looking for an organized, detail oriented and accurate Purchasing Assistant and Permit Puller. Knowledge of Bathroom products would be helpful but not required.
The key metric of this position is to be sure all products are ordered accurately and all permits are pulled in a timely fashion so that start dates can be kept.
Below is a bullet point job description:
· Permit Pulling
o Obtain permits for projects from appropriate municipalities.
· Product cross-check
o Review all drawings, Client Order forms to determine if there are any design or product questions or issues.
o Review all Change orders to be certain that any changes made after sale are reflected in the order
· PO Creation and Ordering
o Create Pre-Purchasing PO and send to vendors for quote prior to ordering
o Compare quote to internal pricing for verification-review against known pricing multiples
o Report discrepancies and/or update pricing in System
o Create order POS and send to vendors with delivery dates
§ Verify dates with job schedule
§ All product in 2 weeks prior to job start
· Returns
o Manage returns and get credit memos issued
· Shopping
o Verify the “best” pricing for the best product and services
o Search for alternative vendors and products of equal or better quality
· Change Order Product Ordering
o Order products for Change Order work AFTER approved change order is sent from client
