Position: Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care (Contract)
Location: Oshkosh, WI
Pay rate: $90 - 120/hr for W2 (up to $120/hr if the provider qualifies for 1099, depending on experience)
Duration: 26 weeks with possible extension
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 04:30 PM | No weekends or on-call requirements
Setting: Primary care - Correctional / Institutional
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary and preventive care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Manage an average daily caseload in accordance with facility needs.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per facility and state standards.
Perform minor procedures as applicable (preferred but not required).
Ensure timely communication and follow-up regarding patient care needs.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family practice, Correctional, or a similar setting
Current BLS certification.
Prior correctional or institutional healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Salary : $90 - $120
