- Package finished products carefully for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
- Assist in food production processes such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various baked items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care during preparation and packaging to ensure hygiene and quality control
Skills
- Proven experience in baking
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in food preparation within a commercial kitchen or food production environment
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, piping tools, and packaging machines efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients or team members when needed
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for restaurant operations, or bakery settings
- Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity in decorating and presentation techniques
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during busy periods
