The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for aiding our patients and other visitors, maintaining organization in our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for our patients and their families.

- Greet patients, vendors, and other visitors to our wellness center
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary
- Answer the telephone and redirect calls to the appropriate staff member, and respond to voicemails in a timely manner
- Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
- Register new patients and update necessary records
- Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
- Maintain spreadsheets and confidentiality of all patient records
- Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming. Wipe down high traffic areas
- Uphold the positive reputation of our wellness center by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
- Experience with the following desired: EMR system, Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Email, etc.

- Dedication to maintaining the confidentiality of all patient records Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical practices, and quality improvement methodologies.

- Experience with financial management and budget oversight in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology systems.

- Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push and pull
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
- Health care experience preferred
