Overview
I'm looking for a reliable driver with either a valid provisional or full driver's license to drive a rented U-Haul truck for a one-time move. The job will take approximately 4 hours and pays $20 per hour ($80 total).
The route starts with picking up the U-Haul at 7638 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003, then driving to a pickup location in Fairfax, VA, transporting the belongings to a drop-off location in Alexandria, VA, and finally returning the truck to the original U-Haul location in Annandale.
No commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. I'm looking for someone who is dependable, drives safely, and can help make the move go smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Drive the rented U-Haul truck safely and responsibly throughout the move.
- Pick up the truck from the Annandale U-Haul location and return it after the move is complete.
- Transport household items from the Fairfax pickup location to the Alexandria drop-off location.
- Follow GPS directions and obey all traffic laws.
- Assist with loading and unloading if needed.
- Communicate professionally and arrive on time for the scheduled move.
Requirements
- Valid provisional or full driver's license.
- Comfortable driving a U-Haul moving truck.
- Safe driving record and responsible driving habits.
- Able to commit approximately 4 hours.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to assist with light to moderate lifting is preferred but not required.
