Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including TOAST POS.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly TOAST POS, for efficient order processing.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
- Experience in food service or fine dining environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, bartending techniques & wine pairing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- A commitment to food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
