One Tech Engineering is searching for a Shipping Clerk for a second shift position (3PM - 11PM) located in Madison, Wisconsin. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for packing products for shipping, loading/unloading trucks, and operating forklift and pallet moving equipment.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have previous experience in shipping, receiving, and driving a forklift.
Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:
- Packing products for shipping.
- Loading/unloading trucks.
- Operating forklift and pallet-moving equipment.
- Verifying incoming material against bill of lading.
- Creating shipping paperwork.
- Coordinating shipping arrangements with customers.
- Moving materials to appropriate locations.
Requirements of the Shipping Clerk:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of shipping experience.
- Experience driving a forklift, preferred.
- Must be familiar with a bill of lading.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong work ethic.
Physical Demands
- Able to stand for 8 hours in a day.
- Able to lift 40 lbs. with or without accommodations repetitively with a 70-lb. maximum.
