What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pelvic Floor Therapist position at One Strong Woman Therapy?
One Strong Woman Therapy is not your average clinic.
We are an independent, women-owned pelvic health practice in Davenport, Iowa — and we are changing the standard of women's healthcare in the Quad Cities, one patient at a time. Our team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and lactation consultants, treat the things women have been told to just live with. Leaking. Pain during intimacy. Postpartum recovery that nobody prepared them for. Perimenopause symptoms nobody can explain. The six-week clearance that said they were fine when they absolutely were not.
We see nearly 200 patients a week trusting us with personal challenges and "taboo" information. What started as personal challenges from her own experiences to opening OSW in 2022. We have grown from a solo practice in 2022 to a team of 8 clinicians. And we are just getting started.
What makes us different is not just what we treat — it is how we treat. Every patient who walks through our door is met with safety, warmth, honesty, and zero judgment. We believe women deserve care that takes them seriously, explains what is actually happening in their bodies, and empowers them to heal with confidence. That is the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
If that is the kind of practice you want to be part of — keep reading.
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Pelvic Floor Therapist — OT or PT — to join our team in Davenport, Iowa.
You will work with women across the full spectrum of pelvic health — prenatal care and birth preparation, postpartum rehabilitation, c-section recovery, diastasis recti, incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, painful intimacy, constipation, and perimenopause symptoms. You will conduct thorough evaluations, build individualized treatment plans, and provide the kind of care that makes patients feel like someone finally listened.
Day to day you will work alongside a collaborative team of OTs, PTs, and lactation consultants. You will maintain clinical documentation, communicate with referring providers, and participate in a practice culture that invests in your growth as much as it invests in patient outcomes.
This is not a revolving door caseload. Our patients stay, they refer their friends, and they trust us with the most personal parts of their health. That means the work is deep, meaningful, and sometimes heavy. It also means the impact is real every single day.
