Job Overview
One Stop Truck & Equipment is looking for a reliable and detail oriented Parts Associate to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our shop and our customers’ fleets moving. You will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers at the counter, and ensuring our technicians have exactly what they need to get the job done right.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Assist walk-in and phone-ins with identifying and ordering the correct parts for medium and heavy-duty trucks.
- Inventory Management: Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips, and organize stock on shelves.
- Technician Support: Work closely with our service department to pull parts for open work orders and track shop supplies.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process outgoing orders and handle incoming freight to ensure all inventory is accounted for.
- Sourcing: Research and order non-stocked parts from vendors to fulfill specialized customer needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clean and accurate records of sales, returns, and core exchanges in our system.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a parts department (automotive, heavy truck, or agricultural) is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with truck components, engines, and hydraulic systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and customers.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Integrity: A high level of accountability and honesty when handling inventory and financial transactions.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic office software and the ability to learn inventory management systems.
Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
