Job Overview
We’re a convenience store looking for someone to man our deli area. You should know how to use a slicer, and prior deli experience is required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing deli items, including slicing meats, cheeses, and other foods
- Serving customers in a friendly and efficient way
- Keeping the deli area clean and sanitary
- Helping with food prep and stocking supplies
- Providing great customer service
- Pitching in around the store when needed, including restocking drinks, keeping the coffee bar area tidy and other duties
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a deli or food prep environment
- Familiarity with POS systems (Clover)
- Good customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash and card payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy times
- Able to multitask and stay organized
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- You MUST be 18
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Pay
You’ll be paid in cash every Friday, or we can negotiate another weekly pay day that fits your schedule.
Hours are from 5am-1pm.
Must be able to work at least 5/days a week (especially on Saturday)
We are open to slight flexibility on hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
