Overview:
Our medical office in Stamford is seeking a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients, clients, and visitors. Our role combines front desk operations with scheduling and administrative support. This is a permanent opportunity for a confident, service-focused professional.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Summer Fridays, leaving at 2:30 PM)
• Competitive pay: $45,000–$50,000/year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups
• Greet and check in patients, clients, and visitors, ensuring a professional front desk experience
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls
• Verify insurance coverage and scan and process documents
• Manage email correspondence and incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Maintain the appearance and organization of the reception area and meeting spaces
• Coordinate meeting room bookings and support scheduling logistics
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and liaising with building management and vendors

Qualifications:

• 1 year of scheduling experience in a medical, dental, or mental health office
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
