We’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Paint Specialist / Sales Associate to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all things paint and decorating, providing exceptional customer service while driving high-end sales. Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist customers in selecting the right paints, finishes, and decorating supplies by understanding their renovation or remodeling needs.
- Provide expert advice on color matching and product selection.
- Become proficient with paint tinting equipment to accurately tint paint products to customer specifications.
- Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure a well-organized store environment.
- Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, account management, and follow-up to encourage repeat business
- Support marketing efforts by promoting new products, seasonal promotions, and special events within the store.
- Maintain Paint room by moving and organizing products safely and efficiently.
- Assist with store opening & closing as needed. Support overall store operations and team needs.
- Learn basic knowledge of flooring products to support customer inquiries.
- Receive and unload and organize incoming shipments.
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable operating POS systems and cash registers while ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Able to lift 60 lbs.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
