POSTED ON 9/17/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/16/2025

About One Stone:

One Stone is a student-directed nonprofit in Idaho with a bold mission: to make students better leaders and the world a better place. We are an innovative, student-driven organization recognized nationally for reimagining education and championing transformational learning. At One Stone, students discover their passions and purpose through immersive, project-based learning, social entrepreneurship, and hands-on experiences. Our culture is rooted in creativity, innovation, and empowerment—not just for students, but for everyone who joins our team. Working at One Stone is more than a job—it’s a chance to experience life-changing moments alongside young people who are using their voices to shape the future.

About this role:

Are you energized by keeping things running smoothly, connecting with people, and bringing big ideas to life? Do you thrive on details, organization, and collaboration? If so, you may be the perfect fit. We’re looking for a dynamic, highly organized, and collaborative individual to help steward the heart of One Stone’s work—supporting admissions, operations, and events that keep our student-driven programs thriving. This role is all about juggling diverse responsibilities with creativity and precision, while keeping students at the center of everything you do.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate admissions tours, info sessions, and shadow days; provide warm, timely support to prospective students and families
  • Lead lab school recruitment: Manage outreach and feeder school relationships, and track leads through the funnel
  • Help plan and collaborate on key One Stone events year-round: run-of-show, logistics, vendors/volunteers, and post-event follow-up
  • Own time-bound special projects that advance school-wide priorities
  • Manage building assets and facility needs: intake requests, schedule work orders, and close the loop with requesters
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments for tours, interviews, and shared spaces
  • Maintain accurate data and records across NEON (CRM)/spreadsheets; generate simple reports
  • Coach and support the after-school service program (scheduling, communications, attendance, reflections)
  • Partner with the One Stone parent group to mobilize volunteers and respond to community needs
  • Publish timely updates to the website and support social media with student-centered stories
  • Collaborate across the team and pitch in where needed during peak periods
  • Center student voice in everything you do: co-design with students, recruit/train ambassadors, and incorporate student feedback

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Deep belief in the potential of students, with a collaborative, hands-on approach to empowering their growth and success
  • Proven ability to prioritize, manage, and complete tasks efficiently while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills that drive effective decision-making and follow-through
  • Thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments that require adaptability, initiative, and collaboration
  • Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and speaking, able to convey ideas with clarity and professionalism
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner who embraces new challenges and rapidly acquires new skills
  • Dedicated team player who values diverse perspectives, builds strong relationships, and contributes to shared goals

Nice to haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of project management, leading initiatives from planning through execution
  • Hands-on event management (logistics, stakeholder engagement, end-to-end delivery)
  • Experience working with K–12 students in school, youth, or nonprofit settings
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with diverse groups (students, families, partners)
  • Experience with recruitment and K–12 school admissions
  • Google Workspace proficiency (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides; Forms and shared calendars)
  • Basic social media and Squarespace proficiency (publish updates, edit pages, simple SEO)
  • Local partnerships experience in the Boise education/community ecosystem
  • Flexibility to support occasional evenings/weekends aligned to the annual calendar

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. This role includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as paid time off (PTO) and a retirement plan.
