Duties
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling in accordance with established protocols.
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately to ensure quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized mobile work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during the procedure.
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate records of patient interactions and specimen collections.
- Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and laboratory practices relevant to phlebotomy.
Skills
- Proficient in laboratory techniques related to blood sampling and specimen collection processing.
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory operations and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
