Job Position: Mill/Turn Operator (Multi-Axis)

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224

Pay Rate: $28-$40

Description: 2nd Shift
CNC mill/turn (Okuma or similar), 5-axis or mill/turn experience a plus.

1. Operating CNC mill/turn machines

2. Performing both turning and milling operations

3. Working with multi-axis machining

4. Setting up tooling and workholding

5. Setting tool offsets

6. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints

7. Understanding GD&T

8. Making tool and offset adjustments

9. Working with live tooling

10. Using C-axis/Y-axis functions when applicable

11. Understanding G & M code

12. Performing first-piece and in-process inspections

13. Using micrometers, calipers, indicators and other precision measuring equipment

14. Troubleshooting machining/program issues

15. Maintaining tight tolerances on precision parts
