What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician position at One Source Power?
Growing national utility construction company with large fleet is NOW hiring diesel mechanics to repair and maintain our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks. This position is a mobile fleet repair position based in New York State with some travel along the US East Coast. First Shift plus Overtime. Very competitive pay and excellent benefits including: full medical, dental, vision, flexible, pension and paid vacation all paid by company.
Compensation; Approximately $150,000.00 ANNUAL WAGE including Overtime
Up to $6,000.00 longevity bonus over the course of the first year.
Necessary Skills and Requirements
· Must reside in reasonable proximity to yards in Albany, Buffalo and Sullivan County.
· Ability to travel overnight for multiple days at a time to various yards and sites in New York and surrounding states
· Experience as an on-road diesel mechanic with trucks and heavy equipment in the field or accredited technical school
· Must have developed skills in strategy based diagnostics, able to utilize diagnostic tools and computers to identify root cause and correction
· Professional, upbeat attitude
· Strong work ethic & ability to learn
· Ability to display skills with a practical, on the job test working in the shop for the day
· ASE Certifications, knowledge of DOT standards
· NY State digger derrick license (Class F)
· CDL License required
· Successful candidate will be Subject to mandatory company Drug Test Policy

Job responsibilities include: * Repairing diesel trucks to include: electrical, transmission, engines, tires, minor body work, truck painting, hydraulics, lights, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance as required
Truck & heavy equipment fleet includes:
- Freightliner, International, Chevrolet & Ford Truck trucks. Altec and Terex overhead equipment.
