Principal Duties and Responsibilities*:
An Accounts Manager Advocate supports outside Sales Managers by building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to support retention, satisfaction, and account growth. They will support sales by coordinating with Account Managers, Customer Service and internal teams to deliver solutions, and identify opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Acting as the primary contact for assigned clients and managing day-to-day communication. Understanding each client’s goals, challenges and business environment, ensuring consistent value and long-term trust.
- Sales & Growth: Support Sales Managers by Identifying opportunities within existing accounts to achieve individual and team-wide sales quotas. Responsible for reviewing and preparing quotes for Sales Managers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments (like production, purchasing, estimating, account managers and customer service) to ensure client deliverables are met.
- Issue Resolution: Act as an escalation point for account managers by promptly addressing queries and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Reporting: Prepare regular account status reports and communicate forecasts and product issues with stakeholders.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copier/scanner, and filing cabinets. Accounts Manager Advocate will need to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds..
