As a key team member of our small but mighty crew, you’ll need a can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in where needed. We’re all about teamwork and making a difference together!
What You’ll Do:
- Patient care: Room patients, collect vitals, confirm consent, record MIPS
- Manage medical questions and records
- Chart Prep and patient care oversight
- Manage Providers, keeping them on time and on task
- Prescription Refills
- Shots & Blood Draws
- Inventory and office management
Insurance excellence: referrals, eligibility and follow-ups. You must be top of your game to ensure the practice runs smoothly and profitably
- Medication support: Pre-screen for medications and assist with patient check-out.
- Operational support: Help keep the medical team running smoothly.
What You Bring:
- Experience: At least 3 years as a Medical Assistant in a clinic, office, or hospital.
- Rheumatology or Specialty experience preferred.
- EMR expertise: 3 years working with EMRs, with a solid understanding of check-in processes, insurance protocols, and HIPAA compliance. Eclinicalworks expertise mandatory .
- Education: A Medical Assistant Diploma (or similar).
- Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken English (bonus if you’re fluent in Spanish!).
- Attitude: realiable, punctual, enthusiastic, warm, and excited to grow with One Rheumatology. A team player.
