We are seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resource Employment Specialist to join our growing team and help drive HR excellence across all operations.
Position Overview
The Human Resource Employment Specialist is responsible for supporting all aspects of the employment lifecycle — including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. This role requires strong HR knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, reviewing applicants, conducting interviews, and assisting with hiring decisions.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation for new employees to ensure compliance and engagement.
- Maintain accurate employee files and ensure all documentation meets state and federal standards.
- Support HR management with employee relations, investigations, and policy implementation.
- Track and maintain employee training, certifications, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
- Provide administrative and compliance support to the HR Director and leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR experience (recruitment, compliance, and employee relations preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS systems and online recruitment platforms strongly preferred.
- Other Requirements: Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
- Experience working in healthcare, residential care, or social service environments.
