Job Summary
The Server is responsible for providing professional, attentive, and personable service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish. By working closely with both the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams, this individual helps ensure service standards consistently exceed guest expectations across events, including weddings, conferences, fundraisers, etc.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide engaging service throughout all guests' dining experience, contributing to a service culture centered on guest satisfaction
- Remain attentive to guest preferences, offering personalized recommendations to elevate the guest experience
- Collaborate with front-of-house and heart-of-house colleagues to deliver timely service
- Support the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, adhering to event specifications dictated per manager instructions or guest requests
- Help set tables, serve plated food and drink items, and bus dishes, ensuring presentation, cleanliness, and organization standards are met
- Uphold strict hygeine practices to comply with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Restaurant or other members of the management team
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Food & Beverage service role, preferably within an upscale dining setting
- Previous experience working in a banquets or events setting is advantageous
Prior experience working in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort environment is preferred
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to maintain composure under pressure, being able to deliver seamless service in fast-paced, high-demand situations

Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
- Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds
- Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
